It shows some small dings and scratches, but nothing outside the scope of most instruments that have been in service for over 15 years.

It is always a special treat to have one of Will Kimble's mandolins come through our shop. It's been a while since we have had one and this mandolin reminds us of everything that we love about his instruments. Beautiful, rich sound with the perfect balance of depth and crisp clarity. This is a powerful mandolin with plentiful cutting power and volume but it isn't the least bit harsh or abrasive sounding. On the contrary, it has a very mellow and sweet quality to the tone that has no doubt been helped along with many hours of playing. Set-up with a low and comfortable action and neck relief, it is a joy to play in all positions. Very nice neck profile that could be called a "modified V" but is more rounded than V shape. A wonderful A5 mandolin from one of the great modern builders.

Varnish finish, Waverly tuners, A3 style headstock inlay, fully bound, radiused ebony fretboard and bridge, engraved James tailpiece, bound ebony pickguard, adjustable truss rod, 1-3/32" nut width.
